Ronald Marapon Dela Rosa
Ronald 'Bato' Marapon Dela Rosa, born on January 21, 1962, is a Filipino politician, retired police officer, and incumbent Senator of the Philippines since 2019. He previously served as the Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) from 2016 to 2018 and was the first Director General of the Bureau of Corrections under the Duterte administration. Dela Rosa led the implementation of the controversial war on drugs and became one of the most recognizable figures of the Duterte administration before entering politics. A Mindanaoan lawmaker, he is seeking reelection to the Senate in the 2025 elections.
