Eufemia Pet Doringo
Eufemia Pet 'Mimi' Doringo, born on November 14, 1975, is a Filipino urban poor activist and community organizer. She currently serves as the Secretary General of Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (KADAMAY), a militant organization advocating for the rights of the urban poor. Known as 'Nanay Mimi,' she has been at the forefront of campaigns against demolitions, evictions, and for affordable housing. She joined KADAMAY in 2017, became its National Spokesperson in 2018, and was appointed National Secretary General in 2020. Her activism stems from her own experiences with housing insecurity and the struggles of urban poor communities.
