Michael Balais Tapado, also known as 'Bongbong,' is a businessman, financial management consultant, motivational speaker, and mentor born on August 7, 1969. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting and minor in Management, from the Philippine School of Business Administration. Throughout his career, he has founded and led several ventures in real estate and financial consultancy. He currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Turismo Filipina International Incorporated, and as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of MBTAPADO Financial Consultancy. Beyond his business activities, Tapado has worked as an international resource and motivational speaker, business and life coach, and leadership trainer. His mentorship has extended to various organizations including Go Negosyo, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Premiere Business and Professional Toastmasters Club, and the Rotary Club Manila Zobel. He is known for his advocacy for entrepreneurship and leadership development, with a particular focus on empowering overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) by providing business consultancy and mentorship to OFW communities both locally and globally.
